Prototyping Mindset

Prototyping as a method of problem solving requires a set of skills and attitudes that are very different to those demanded by traditional planning paradigms. These skills and attitudes require us, as individuals, teams and institutions, to both unlearn old patterns and learn new ways of engaging with the world. Successful prototyping is dependent on transformation at both a personal and institutional level. We will discover what is meant with the prototyping mindset and discover the benefits of experimenting with rapid prototyping tools, all while having fun.

In this workshop you will:

  • Be courageous, curious and open, to identify small actionable next steps, and actually do them - or start doing them

  • Getting into a prototyping mindset and discover the benefits of moving forward through iterations

  • Experience rapid prototyping tools, crowdsourcing and/or co-creation

  • Meet other inspiring changemakers working on diverse challenges and potentials

  • Have fun together and remember we are many, talented, and able to have an impact!
